Station buildings under the ABS scheme
Improvements to circulating areas and facades at Anakapalle, Elamanchili, Tuni, Samalkot, Nidadavole, Kakinada and Anaparti stations.
Under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, the facades, entrance porticos, circulating areas, landscaping and lighting of seven stations on South Central Railway are being rebuilt while the stations remain in full operation.
At Tuni the circulating area was re-levelled and paved, a new colonnaded gateway built and the facade restored in the station’s red-and-white scheme. Nidadavolu received a new textured facade, a steel-and-glass entrance canopy and architectural lighting.
